Proper Flossing Technique

Flossing is crucial for removing plaque and food particles from areas that your toothbrush cannot reach, such as between your teeth and under the gumline. To ensure effective cleaning, hold the floss tightly between your thumb and forefingers, leaving about an inch of floss between them, and use a gentle rocking motion to guide it between your teeth. Avoid jerking or snapping the floss into the gums, and curve it into a C-shape against each tooth to gently scrape away plaque.
